All of the products that we stock are designed and manufactured to the highest quality, standards and specifications, which ensures that our products are designed to perform by all sectors of industry.

We work with a diverse range of experienced carriers to ensure that your products will be delivered, by sea, air, or road, on time, and in first class condition. Wit our experience trading internationally we are completely proficient with the documentation and packing requirements that are mandatory for hassle-free exportation internationally. All of our products are shipped with packing notes, delivery notes, commercial invoices and certificates of conformity. Additional documentation such as certificates of origin can also be supplied if required.

VAT on European Orders

If you are a VAT registered company based in the EU but outside the UK, you will be able to buy from us VAT free.

Email us at enquiries@britanniasafety.com with a company letterhead showing the following information: Company name, address and VAT number.

We will then verify your details and set up your account for VAT free shopping

Norway customers without a VAT number please provide your PID number in your order notes as this is now required by Norwegian customs.

Customs and Excise Charges / Local Duties and Taxes

Please note that orders from outside of the UK may be liable for customs or excise duty upon receiving the goods according to the customs and excise regulations in that country and any charges are the responsibility of the customer.

It is our policy that on all international deliveries, the goods become the responsibility of the customer once dispatched, and Britannia Safety will not be held responsible for goods not reaching their destination, or any additional import duties / taxes / costs ect. Proof of shipping can be supplied if required.
Refunds will not be issued on International Orders. For international orders, goods can only be returned if faulty, and the customer is responsible for the carriage cost of returning the goods, where once inspected, replacement goods will be made available.

Associated Paperwork

Unless otherwise stated all our Britannia Safety quotations include supply of one set of Britannia Safety ‘Standard documentation package only’ which will consist of Operating & Maintenance Instructions, Certificate of Conformity, Commercial Invoice, Packing Note and Delivery Note. All equipment will be supplied compliant with the Machinery Directive and fully certified for use in the European community and CE marked where appropriate.

The following are not supplied as standard: certificate of compliance, certificate of Origin, galvanizing certificate (or specification), painting certificate (or specification), NDT certificate, welding certificates, material certificate, mill Certificate, report of load test, test certificates, report or of thorough examination, shipping and packing notes, electronic documentation, proof of / certification of minimum break test, DNV or other accredited third party certification (or inspection) or Access to the Quality or Technical files.

European Certificates of Origin and Chamber of Commerce authenticated invoices can be arranged for an additional charge.
